Roundtable Discussion: Hungary’s Upcoming Elections and Their Regional Implications

Yesterday, a roundtable discussion took place focusing on Hungary’s upcoming elections and their major political implications for the region.

The invited speakers were Tamás Kiss, researcher at the Institutul pentru Studierea Problemelor Minorităţilor Naţionale, and Zoltán Bretter — philosopher, university professor, and former Member of the Hungarian Parliament (1990–1998).
The discussion was moderated by Borbála Kovács.

The debate highlighted the major political stakes of the upcoming elections, including their significance for ethnic Hungarians living in Romania, as Hungary is currently experiencing a period of notable democratic vulnerability.
